Fountaintown Volunteer Fire Department​

Welcome to the official website of the Fountaintown Volunteer Fire Department Cadet program. Our station, Station 612, is located in Northern Shelby County just west of the State Road 9 and US 52 intersection. We utilize both part-time staffing from 0700-1900 and volunteer firefighters to serve our community. Our department offers Fire and rescue, as well as, ALS and BLS emergency medical services. 

Cadet Program

The FVFD cadet program is a great way for young people to learn about firefighting and emergency services. This program offers training in fire safety, first aid, search and rescue, and other related skills. Cadets will have the opportunity to participate in community events and assist with our fundraising efforts. Overall, a cadet program can be a rewarding experience for those interested in pursuing a career in firefighting or simply looking to give back to community.
